Cost units
What each call costs
Every billable response reports its cost in the X-Stargate-Credits-Used header, so spend is auditable from the client side.

Two limits, clearly signalled
Burst rate limit
Short-window protection per key and product. Returns 429 with a Retry-After header — back off and retry.
Credits exhausted
When the prepaid balance reaches zero, billable calls return 402. Top up to continue.
Enterprise
Running high volume, or need it on an invoice?
Self-serve credits suit most integrations. Past a certain volume it's usually worth talking — we can price against your annual request profile, tailor field entitlements and bill by invoice.

Each endpoint has a fixed cost in credits. Most calls cost 1 credit; a Company Financials search costs 2. See the table above.
Yes. The sandbox returns schema-identical responses so you can build and test your integration before provisioning a production key.
Provisioning is handled by our team: contact sales, we enable the products in your bundle and issue a production key shown once at creation.
A field bundle, frozen onto your key at provisioning. Later catalogue changes never silently alter what a production key returns.
